When Should I Replace my Water Heater?
There are a few areas you should look at when deciding between repairing your water heater, and replacing it. For starts, how long is it? On average, most water heaters last 10-13 years.

If you are thinking about replacing your water heater, it’s a good idea to look at your energy costs as a factor. Newer, more efficient models can save up to $700 in energy costs over the life of the unit.

Sometimes, a simple repair can fix the problem. We’ll be sure to investigate the issues and let you know all of your options before you decide.

Did you know? The second-largest expense in our homes, according to the Department of Energy, is heating water. Water Heaters account for 14% to 18% of our utility bills.

Your new water heater will probably be larger than your old one, or one you are used to in an older house. In 2015 regulations were passed that required more insulation around the water heater tank. For some, new water heaters meant relocating where they are stored so the larger units could fit. If you are facing a water heater replacement, and worried about it fitting, let us work with you to choose the one that works best for your needs. We are happy to assist in remodeling/repair to make sure everything can run smoothly.
